This is the big one. Three things we have wanted in the platform for a long time all landed in the same release.
A process engine. Model a business process in BPMN, and Structr runs it: it hands out the tasks, keeps track of who may see and do what, and generates the screens that go with each step. Processes are part of the deployment, so they travel with the application.
A new widget system. Components bind to a data source and bring paging, sorting and filtering with them. Render templates are widgets now, theming moved to Tailwind 4, and buttons can be wired to actions without writing code.
Structure-first AI (Enterprise). The new LLM module uses your application graph as context, works with Anthropic, OpenAI or a model running in your own data centre, and lets agents inspect the running application through a toolbox you can extend. The Structr Companion is built entirely on it.
On top of that: Java 25 and the Java module system, an embedded Neo4j option, asynchronous scripting, a new outbound HTTP API with an assisted migration, data deployment modes, storage synchronisation, in-process PDF rendering — and the largest security overhaul in Structr’s history, with more than 30 findings closed.
